Oğuz Büyükberber
Oğuz Büyükberber is an Amsterdam based performer/composer who’s specialized in clarinets, modular synthesizers and visuals. His style merges contemporary music, jazz and influences from his Turkish background. His activities as a modular synthesizer artist is often presented under his alter ego artist name OX Barber.
His body of work includes over 60 albums including releases on ECM and Blue Note, a detailed method book explaining his own improvisational systems, exhibitions of his visual art, university lectures and dozens of commissions he received to compose ensemble music as well as electro-acoustic and audio-visual pieces.
He studied bass clarinet with Harry Sparnaay at Amsterdam Conservatory and took composition lessons from Theo Loevendie. Also holding another degree in fine arts, he incorporates his own visual art in his music work. His activities as a modular synthesizer artist is often presented under his alter ego artist name OX Barber.
Composing and Improvising in a cutting edge avant-garde setting is where he feels most at home. Be it all acoustic, all electronic or anything in between.
Estroe & Raaf
When Raaf and Estroe take the stage together, a musical world unfolds that is constantly in motion. Both artists operate at the intersection of electronics, improvisation, and texture — each with their own signature, yet always in dialogue.
Raaf weaves rich melodies and sparkling arpeggios from his modular system. His sound is layered, organic, and infused with a cinematic sensitivity. He builds worlds that are both dreamy and rhythmically charged, with a strong focus on harmonic development.
Estroe, known for her subtle and atmospheric approach to electronic music, brings warmth, depth, and a keen ear for nuance. In her live performances, her love for improvisation shines through: an intuitive play with sound, texture, and timing, always responding to the moment. Together, they create a set where melody, timbre, and rhythm challenge and amplify one another.
Beats are present — layered, glowing, and sometimes danceable — but never dominant. Their music invites both listening and movement, drifting and grounding. Each performance is a carefully crafted whole, with room for surprise. Spherical, rhythmic, melodic — and always with attention to detail.
Point.omicron
Almost a year ago, I started working on this project using the voice of David Lynch sampled from Twin Peaks as the only source for every sound. Without knowing of his health issues (as he was still reporting his legendary weather reports then), this became my tribute to an artist that his work has inspired me the most. Not only his films but all his visual works, his “Art Life” philosophy and transcendental meditation practice.
I will always be grateful to him. I learned how to be an artist. Which means to dive into the darkness of life with courage and a torch.

Jony is a techno artist based in Utrecht. Her sets revolve around her Tanzbär drum machine and are brash and playful. Her approach to performance relies heavily on her continuous contact with the audience. At Open|Forms she will dive deeper into ambient territories, with (like always) a strong base of analog beats.
From a wooden box, Simone Di Rubbo conjures drones and abstract evolving melodies into temporary existence. He’s combined the powers of his compact collection of sound devices with the analog beats of Jony, to create a constantly evolving interplay of sound and groove.
